After 3 sold out events in the Whenua Step series, a national tour, and endless collaborations with the beautiful and blossoming Ōtautahi underground crews, Whenua Step 4! is a ka kite to our tūrangawaewae, Ōtautahi. This event is a celebration of Ōtautahi and Kāwai Sound System's journey in its first year. We are humbled to be joined by Iharaira Starr, The Mighty Asterix of the Salmonella Dub Sound System, Chief Remedy crew, and Messenjah.
Whenua Step 4! - Te Otinga is the conclusion to Kāwai Sound System's tenure in Ōtautahi before the system moves to Te Whanganui ā Tara. This will be a night full of emotion and gratitude for the community in Ōtautahi that has supported and uplifted our kaupapa from the very beginning. We look forward to sharing this night with you all. We cannot wait to be back home and kanikani in our favourite building, Galaxy Arcade.
