"Where the Light Touches" Impressionist Painting Class

This class, run by experienced Engine Room artist and Sefton Open winner Olivia Kenyon, will feature and in-depth acrylic painting class on abstract impressionist seascapes.

Students will learn to recognize the power of the "illusion of detail". and learn how the impact of colour, light, and composition can capture the essence of a wild seascape.

The painting session will run for three hours, from 12pm-3pm, on 19th July, at the Engine Room.

Tea, coffee, and all painting materials are included in the ticket price, please only bring:

- a pencil and rubber

- appropriate painting attire

- and an excited attitude to begin painting!

Olivia will be creating a live painting alongside the class whilst teaching, in order to give students a glimpse into the techniques she uses as a landscape artist.
