Where to for skills passport?

There are very mixed views on whether we really need a new online quals tracker.

The Federal Government are enthused at the prospect of a National Skills Passport and have issued press releases, a white paper and consultations to bolster the case. Do we need one? How many employers care? Is the Passport an exciting tool for graduates or another government tool to replicate what we already have?
