Where From Here? is an Alice Springs showcase of creative works that explore human existence, connection to country and offer a response to the challenges of the 21st century.

Where From Here? incorporates film, dance, spoken word, live music and audiovisual performances in a curated event presented by theatrical feather fan duo Fan Fatale.

Come, reflect and celebrate as part of a series of World Environment Day events (local events happening June 3 - 5).

Fan Fatale will present the title show Where From Here?; the next iteration of the Evolution project, which had a first showing in the Alice Desert Festival in 2019. Where From Here? is both a reflective and bold exploration of our relationship to that which sustains us and includes a series of filmed and live performances woven together with a compelling poetic narration, featuring stunning Central Australian landscapes. Incorporating audience feedback, the second showing of this creative work features new dance pieces, songs and spoken word, whilst retaining some favourite moments from the first presentation.

Resin Moon will be providing a feature performance at the event. Resin Moon is the musical project of Dave Crowe, a producer, songwriter, composer and musician and one of the Territory’s best-known artists. Dave runs a studio, record label 'Sing Hum' and often collaborates with remote bush bands and town-based artists. He provides support to many creative projects in Central Australia.

The Where From Here? event will also feature a performance by Stellar Sea, a post punk musical outfit led by All Things Peachy, in collaboration with Jez Conlon, LJ Devlin, Danila Rainow, and Rosie Wild. They are currently exploring a personal response to environmental overwhelm and disconnect with messages of hope in their project 'Songs from the Precipice'.

Where From Here will also feature cameo performances by special guests Xavia, Kelly Lee Hickey, Betty Sweetlove and Doc Banjaroo.
