Travel instructions
Bus: the 402 Bus stop is right out the front of the shop, or across the road. It travels from Footscray to East Melbourne. Train: the Kensington Train station is a few minute walking from Whimsy Disco, straight up Macaulay Road. This is on the Craigieburn train line. Car: There is decent free/timed parking on surrounding streets.
Entry instructions
Whimsy Disco has a flat wide entrance straight off the street. In higher/lower temperatures one/both doors can at times be closed to make the temperature comfortable inside. If we know ahead of time you will be coming we can ensure both doors are open. Or of course we will be happy to assist on arrival if needed.
After entry instructions
The workshop zone is straight ahead in the Whimsy Disco space. It's that easy. We have designed the workshop zone to be as comfortable and accommodating for all as we know how. We are still learning though. If you let us know ahead of time of any specific access/comfort needs we will do our best to work with you, learn, and accommodate ahead of time, or on the day as needed.
Hazards
We have designed the space to be as low hazard as possible. At times customers don't realise and will relocate furniture items etc. If we know you are coming we will clear the space, or of course will assist if needed on your arrival.
Toilet location
An accessible toilet is onsite at the rear of the building, via a long corridor at the rear right of the building.
Accessible parking
There are several accessible car spaces on Macaulay road, as well as Bellair Street and McConnell street.
