    Event description

As a valued former member of staff, we would like to share some exciting news.

Last year, St Hilda’s opened its Heritage Centre. Spearheaded by Sandra Naude, the Heritage Centre has become a hub that welcomes our whole community to reconnect with the School.

Over the past twelve months, we have hosted a number of former staff who have visited the Centre. Their joy in recapturing memories has been heartwarming.

Building on this sentiment, St Hilda’s is pleased to announce the launch of the Whitby Society – an association designed to bring together all those who have been connected with the School, but do not have the ongoing ties of an Old Scholar. The Whitby Society has evolved from the original Whitby Parents’ Association to now include staff members and those with deep connections to the School who are committed to its ongoing success.

As a former staff member who has actively served and supported St Hilda’s over many years, we invite you to become involved.

Our inaugural Whitby Society Light Lunch for past staff, which will be held in the newly refurbished Heritage Centre will be an opportunity to stroll down memory lane and reminisce, as well as hear from key members of staff about current plans for the School and exciting developments ahead.

As a member of the Whitby Society, you will receive:

    • An invitation to a special Whitby Society event held in your honour
    • Chapel service once a year (Easter or Christmas)
    • Dedicated Whitby Society newsletter once a semester
    • Discounted tickets to productions such as the School Musical and Concerto Night

We look forward to welcoming you back on campus and hope you can join us to meet old colleagues as well as new friends.
