Event description

Evelyn Rose draws inspiration from the great jazz standard singers, including Ella Fitzgerald and Nat King Cole, whose music she fell in love with and started singing right around the same time she learned to speak. With a background in musical theatre, Evelyn writes with storytelling as the focus. Her quirky lyrics evoke nostalgia, whimsy, and good old-fashioned romance.

In July of this year, Evelyn spent two days recording at the iconic Record Plant studio in Sausalito with a fabulous group of Bay Area musicians, some of whom will be sharing the stage with her tonight. The set will consist of each song from Evelyn’s EP in addition to some non-Christmas originals and classic holiday tunes. Evelyn is excited to celebrate the holidays with her fans at the cozy Back Room!

- Evelyn Rose (vocals, songwriter)

- Ryan Roberts (drums)

- Omree Gal-Oz (piano)

- Isaac Coyle (bass)

- Max Brody (guitar)

Nathan Petersen (sax)
