Who We Are: Presentation at BSA
Event description
Arts Northern Rivers invites you to an in-person presentation of Who We Are: A Profile of the Northern Rivers Creative Sector—a landmark industry report shining new light on the state of our local creative sector.
The Northern Rivers is home to one of Australia’s most vibrant and diverse creative sectors. But in recent years, bushfires, floods, and a global pandemic have tested the resilience of our artists, makers, and cultural organisations like never before.
In response, Arts Northern Rivers partnered with renowned research agency Patternmakers, with support from the NSW Government, to undertake an in-depth, two-year study — the first of its kind in over 15 years.
Join us to explore the findings of this groundbreaking report and be part of an important conversation about the future of the arts in our region. Whether you’re an artist, student, educator, or creative industry professional, this event offers rare insights into the challenges we face, the strengths we share, and the opportunities ahead.
Presented by Jane Fuller, Director of Arts Northern Rivers and Tandi Palmer-Williams – Director Patternmakers Research Agency, and hosted by Byron School of Art.
