Whole Foods Plant Based Cooking Workshop June
Event description
There is plenty of evidence to show that a well implemented whole foods plant based diet is your best chance of preventing and even reversing some of the biggest killers in the Western world. It is also your best chance of achieving your health goals, whether they be getting into shape or perhaps feeling better with more energy and a clearer head. But how do you implement this way of eating into your lifestyle? Anita will show you some really great ways to not only make quick, delicious, easy meals that the whole family will love but also how to adapt them and batch cook so that you can make a few different meals from the main dish. This is one of a series of four cooking classes in which you can do one or two but if you do them all you will enjoy a $40 discount and receive a cookbook as well. The first cooking class you will learn to make a delicious and easy Penang Curry with brown rice, which can also be the base for a few other dishes as well, such as a Malaysian style baked potato. You will also learn how to make lemony bliss balls, which are a quick, easy versatile snack that you can enjoy with a cuppa any time of the day. Great if friends drop in and you haven't got a cake in the oven or fridge! You will eat what you cook and also get to take home any left overs and perhaps a couple of bliss balls too.
