Event description

Volunteers of the Yila Healing Trail and the Shoalhaven, Transform Your Experience!

Are you a volunteer who:

  • Seeks deeper connections within your volunteer community?
  • Notices patterns of always taking care of others?
  • Wants to balance giving with receiving?
  • Aims to understand and ask for what you truly need?
  • Desires tools that will enrich both your volunteer work and personal life?

Join us for a day of transformative practices through a radical inquiry into Giving and Receiving.

This program, inspired by the Leading-Edge work of Dr. Betty Martin, offers practical exercises to help you:

  • Enhance your consent, boundaries, and domain skills.
  • Discover what true giving and receiving mean.
  • Rewire old patterns and foster new, balanced behaviours.
  • Understanding emotional cues as indicators of over giving and finding the sweet spot.
  • Gain insights that will benefit your volunteering, personal, and professional life.

Why Attend?

Hear from fellow volunteers:

  • “Balancing giving would be life-changing.”
  • “Finding balance while keeping my passion for helping.”
  • “Tools to manage invisible labour and enhance well-being.”
