    Event description

Sexual Health Quarters supported by the Department of Communities will be presenting a webinar on the why, what, where and how of Intimate Partner Violence and Reproductive Coercion and Abuse (IPV/RCA) as part of the 16 days in WA campaign.

    • Clinicians and community sector leaders will share thought-provoking and insightful case studies along with their practical experiences with implementing IPV/RCA screening and training within their practices and services.
    • Starting with SHQ's initial research-evidence, we will share the innovative clinical IPV/RCA research findings,
    • The effectiveness of screening in recognising, responding, and supporting those at risk, and how our experiences led to the development of the Safe to Tell Project, the RACGP accredited IPV/RCA clinical training
    • Successful implementation of IPV/RCA screening and training within two women's health care organisations.
    • In addition, participants will learn how they can play their part and take action towards ending IPV/RCA through the implementation of training and screening in their own practice, service or organisations.

This webinar is for anyone working in a healthcare setting.
