WiBRD MasterClass with Tracy Sheen from The Digital Guide, Why you need a Digital Strategy to survive and thrive

As business owners we have a business plan and a marketing plan, yet we’ve not paid a lot of attention to having a digital plan.

The result is an ad hoc approach to technology which resembles more a patch work quilt than a strategy.

Technology isn’t going anywhere, in fact the speed and advancements are only increasing. Understanding your big picture will help you to identify weak spots and areas of opportunity, allowing you to plug them in a systematic way.

If we want to thrive in a post pandemic economy it’s time we become starter about embracing and leveraging technology. In this masterclass you will:

Learn what is needed to put a digital strategy in place

Walk away with the tools to create a simple strategy that will allow you to prioritise and implement in an easy and systematic way.

Tracy Sheen – The Digital Guide

Tracy’s passion is exploring the intersection of business and technology, focusing on the impacts on small business owners. She is the author of Australia’s 2021 Business Book of the Year and Best Technology Book “The End of Technophobia”.

Tracy entered the small business technology space in 1990 and has been involved with many significant advancements including the launch of SMS technology and the first iPhone. She is a pioneer in Australian podcasting, having produced the world's first panel style podcast “Not Another Business Show”.

In 2020 Tracy switched focus to complete her book and create an online membership platform providing small business owners the ability to upskill in a group learning environment. ‘The Small Business Tech Club’ launched in 2021 and features a range of world class digital experts sharing their knowledge. When she is not working in the ‘tech club’, Tracy is a sought after technology commentator in the media. She has been featured by The Australian, Foundr Magazine, Women’s Agenda, and makes regular appearances on Kochie’s Business Builders.

Tracy is described as a practical, engaging, no fluff speaker who speaks the language of small businesses. Outside of work, she is a self confessed Lego nerd and big Formula 1 fan.
