Widening Gyres Exhibition Launch

Rooted in the tradition of experimental photography, Seth Haggard utilises in-camera processes to create geometrically abstract images from urban environments. Widening Gyres is the result of six years of developing their photographic practice.

Exposing infrared film up to twelve times, these images reflect on the chaos of contemporary life and the play of urban ecology, rendering the cityscapes of Auckland and Sydney into geometric weaves, impossible architecture and looming monoliths.
