Event description

Join us for the I-LEAD Women in Industry Luncheon – a powerful celebration of achievement, inspiration and the future of women’s leadership in Tasmania.

This year’s luncheon promises an afternoon of connection, energy, and well-deserved applause for the 47 remarkable women leading change across our industries. We are delighted that The Hon. Jane Howlett MP, Minister for Women and the Prevention of Family Violence, will join us to mark the occasion.

We will also be inspired by a keynote from Miriam Silva AM, a nationally recognised executive and board leader whose career spans banking, agriculture and education and who has long championed women and multicultural communities across Australia.

Adding to the momentum, our panel conversation “Are We There Yet?” will explore progress, barriers and breakthroughs for women in leadership across Tasmania’s industries. The discussion will be facilitated by Kelly Walker GTLP and feature:

  • Roxane Bandini-Maeder – Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, Geoneon

  • Phaedra Deckart – Chief Executive Officer, Solstice Energy

  • Ruth Forrest MLC GTLP – Independent Member for Murchison

  • Felicity Richards – Director, Tasmanian Farmers and Graziers Association; Director, Feuneux Agriculture; Chair, Farmsafe Australia Legislative Council.

We look forward to sharing this afternoon with you celebrating the future of women’s leadership in Tasmania – the 2025 I-LEAD Women in Industry cohort.

Proudly supported by the Tasmanian Government, Elphinstone, NAWO, Solstice Energy and TMEC
