Wild & Wise – A Mixed Media Elephant Experience 🐘✨

Come spend a few hours experimenting, layering and creating as we transform a blank canvas into a richly patterned, colourful elephant bursting with personality.

Join me at Social Arts WA in my private Dawesville Art Studio for a relaxed mixed-media workshop where you’ll explore colour, texture, pattern and mark-making while creating your own Wild & Wise Elephant.

This isn’t about everyone producing an identical painting. We’ll begin by building layers of colour and pattern using acrylic paint, stencils, mark-making and a variety of creative techniques. Once those layers have developed, we’ll introduce the elephant design and use negative-space painting to reveal your elephant from within all that glorious colour and chaos. 🎨

Then comes the fun of adding the finer details — expressive eyes, tusks, decorative marks and those individual touches that make your elephant completely your own.

No two elephants will be alike. 🐘💙

No previous art experience is needed. I’ll demonstrate the techniques and guide you through each stage while giving you plenty of freedom to experiment and follow your own creative instincts.

Bring along your favourite BYO drinks and nibbles, settle into the studio and enjoy a few hours of creative play.
