The Adventurer’s Mindset: How to Perform When the Path Ahead Isn’t Clear, With Martin “Fletch” Fletcher

When the path ahead isn’t clear, how do you make good decisions, adapt quickly and give your team the confidence to do the same?

With AI transforming the way we work, changing economic conditions and uncertainty about what lies ahead, business owners can’t eliminate uncertainty. But they can become better at operating within it.

At our next Wild Fig breakfast, Martin “Fletch” Fletcher will introduce us to the Adventurer’s Mindset, sharing practical tools and behaviours that can help create more capable, adaptable leaders and teams. He’ll explore curiosity over certainty, challenging assumptions, managing ego and using communication to make better decisions when there is no obvious answer.

A business coach, business owner and former qualified mountain guide, Fletch has led expeditions through some of the world’s most challenging environments and captained the record-breaking Australian team that rowed 5,000km unsupported across the Atlantic Ocean. He also brings more than 20 years’ experience in leadership assessment, talent advisory and executive search.

Join us for a fascinating and practical session on navigating uncertainty, adapting to change and performing when you don’t have all the answers.
