Description
Parenting is beautiful, hilarious, joyous… and, at times, overwhelming. Especially for the deeply feeling amongst us.
So often, we are holding so much: our children’s feelings, the rhythms and demands of daily life, the weight of the world. Without enough space to process our own.
This 6-week circle exists so you don’t have to carry it alone.
A space to exhale.
To be heard and witnessed
To be part of the village making we all so deeply crave in a world not set up for what families actually need to thrive.
What this space offers
Each week we gather in circle, on the banks of the mighty Birrarung, weaving together:
✨ Self-care listening circle
A gentle, facilitated space to share the wins, the challenges, and the messy middle. Any shares, big and small will be met with deep, non-judgemental listening, cheering you on or witnessing any unprocessed hurts.
✨ Village-making
Rebuilding the kind of community many of us long for, where support is real, relationships deepen, and we don’t have to do this alone. We will be held, as well by the local ecology allowing our nervous systems to exhale.
✨ Parenting tools & support
Grounded in Aware Parenting, you’ll receive practical, compassionate tools to support your child’s emotional world: through play, tears, connection, and loving limits.
A compassionate, evidence-based approach
This space is rooted in Aware Parenting which is an approach that honours children’s natural capacity to heal through emotional expression, somatic processes and loving connection to caregivers.
Together, we explore ways to:
Support big feelings with confidence
Stay connected to yourself through challenges
Resource ourselves to return to centre over and over
Build trust in our parenting micro-skills and family stewardship
Reach out, lean on each other, be vulnerable, build belonging
Bring more ease, presence, fun and connection into family life
This space is for you if:
You’re craving a village: real connection, holding, community
You care deeply about the world and want your child to have a wild childhood, connected to your local ecology.
You feel the weight of parenting and want somewhere to lay it down
You want to trust yourself more and lean into practical skills, even in the messy moments
You are looking for a space that facilitates a deeper connection to country
You want to find your parent crew of heart led change-makers
You’re ready to be witnessed in the fullness of your experience
Children are welcome
Little ones are warmly welcome.
We’ll have activities and the option of care available, so you can drop into the space, receive support, and have moments to focus on yourself too.
