Wild Wander at Greenough Park

We're back to take you outside and into the verdant world of plants! With spring starting to swing, we will be sharing our knowledge of different edible and medicinal plants and mushrooms we encounter, with a stronger focus on those of greater seasonal relevance. Identification, foraging techniques, medicinal qualities, and modes of preparation will be covered, as well as conversations around reciprocity, holistic ecosystem perspectives, and plant intelligence. We will begin with wildcrafted snacks and introductions, and mosey from there. For those inclined, bring an id book, notebook, and pen OR just come ready to listen. Our pace is slow, the trail is flat, and we will be walking less than a mile. Meet at the Greenough Pavilion.
