Join us for a fungi foray at Waite Conservation Reserve!
Help Wild Webcap to survey Cortinarius, Australia's largest group of native mycorrhizal macrofungi.
Participants will learn to how to recognise Cortinarius (AKA Webcaps),identify beginner friendly species and upload observations to iNaturalist to contribute to Australian fungal diversity data. As a group, we will walk through Waite Conservation Reserve and record observations and descriptions of the species we find. 
If you have any fungi identification equipment, please bring it along with you. Otherwise, we will have some to lend you on the day (mirrors, hand lens, ID books etc.)

Location: Waite Conservation Reserve, Urrbrae, SA
Meet at the Springwood park entrance, 198A Mt Barker Rd, Leawood Gardens.

Meet at the gravel behind Springwood Park house and someone will be here to direct you. You can either park here and carpool with other participants or drive further to the farm adjacent to the reserve.
