Greetings sister,Whether you know your wildness or are still remembering, we know you will love our April retreat!April 11-14th we will be combining Fire and Craft to bring you a gathering of creation and connection in Gunalda QLD.
Learn:
•Ancestral and modern fire starting techniques (hand drill, bow drill, ferro rod)
•Cooking with fire (in coals, leaves/bark, cob oven, flame grill and smoking meat)•Fire ceremony, dance and somatic practices
•How to make clap sticks (traditional Arabuna method)
•Natural cordage
•Various methods of weaving to make baskets, carry bags, mats and fish traps
•Eco dyeing
•Wire wrappingTake home gifts of fire kit (choice of hand drill or bow drill), clap sticks, all your craft projects and smoked meat.
Enjoy song and story by the fire, camping on beautiful country, swimming in the fresh water lake, connection with sisters, rest and relaxation, delicious meals and time to craft. Spaces
