Wildcare Wildlife Tales

Wildcare volunteers with joeys, birds and other local wildlife in their care, will be in conversation with Professional Facilitator, Liz Landford, to discuss the rewarding world of wildlife rescue. We will explore a day in the life of a Wildcare volunteer, from feeding baby joeys, to how to safely rescue animals, and how to promptly get animals the veterinary treatment and care they need. We will discuss the highlights, challenges, and the opportunities to get involved and protect our local wildlife and support Wildcare and the organisations that care for them. This free event ties in with Steve Irwin Day on 15 November, to honour the legacy of the Crocodile Hunter and his dedication to wildlife conservation. We look forward to having you join us at this heartwarming and inspiring event.
