WildCraft Theatre
“Let your Imagination & Bodies run Wild!"
Join Yonke Van Geloven from Temples Of The Forest and Jen Bray from Inside Out Dance Theatre for 8 weeks of Improvisation Theatre Classes for young people, with Storytelling, Bushcraft Skills, Rewilding Games and Nature Connection.
Classes are held on Monday evenings in Term 3, from 4:15pm - 5:45pm at Gasworks Arts Park, Garden Studio.
All children between the ages of 9 - 13 welcome for this 8 week program.

Yonke Van Gerloven
Yonke is a farmer, permaculturalist, and passionate nature connection facilitator and vision quest guide based on Dja Dja Wurrung Country, central Victoria. As a single mother of three, she stewards a 20-acre permaculture property where she weaves together regenerative land practices, storytelling, and community ritual. Her work invites others into deeper relationship with the land and their own wild selves.
Yonke’s facilitation style is grounded, playful, and deeply intuitive. She completed Nature’s Apprentice Nature-Based Leadership Training in 2021 and brings a wealth of lived experience in bushcraft, fibre arts, and earth-based ceremony. She is especially passionate about guiding others to reconnect with ancestral skills and the rhythms of the natural world, inviting people to slow down, listen, and remember their place in the great web of life.
Jen Bray
Jen runs Drama programs for children and teenagers in regional Victoria with Inside Out Dance Theatre and directs productions for Daylesford Youth Theatre. She has run a Nature Education program in the local bush for children for 8 years.
Jen trained in Drama, Dance, Literature and Outdoor Ed at Melbourne Uni with a B.Ed (Arts) and has worked in theatre, television, short film, opera and circus over the past 30 years.
She has performed in Theatre-for-schools touring shows throughout Victoria, produced shows and run circus programs for The National Institute of Circus Arts, lectured in acting and directed opera at The Victorian College of the Arts, directed shows for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and formed a touring theatre company. She has run the Words in Winter Literary Arts festival and Family Day children's workshop festivals over many years in Hepburn Shire. Jen received a Creative Victoria grant along with other artists to produce a major Youth Theatre production, ‘Mavericks and Misfits’ in 2018,
Jen is passionate about getting out in nature and for her “Drama is the magic of play.’
