An unforgettable wildflower adventure

Albany Tours invites you on a unique and challenging hike from Whalers Cove to Uredale Point, immersed in wildflower splendour. Plus, spectacular vantage points across the water, bays and landforms of stunning King George Sound and the bushland surrounds.

Your Adventure Awaits:

Get ready by 09:45am, departing the trailhead at picturesque Whalers Cove at 10am. You'll embark on a fully guided walk along a trail in nature. The path, ranging from easy stretches to moderate inclines, winds through coastal bushland, along the beach and onto the granite rise at Uredale Point. Be aware that the trail requires good balance and agility as you walk on rough ground, loose sand, over exposed roots and exposed rocks, on boardwalk, uneven rock steps, along beach sand and onto sheet granite. Be confident of your own ability in this terrain. Understand that this is natural environment and not curated pathway.See the majestic and captivating King George Sound, the serene water in Princess Royal Harbour, and foamy waves at Bramble Beach. Feel the fresh air and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Albany coastline.

Throughout your approximately 2-hour walk to Uredale Point and back, your expert guide will illustrate flora species, share stories of First Nations people the Menang, explore the landscape features and refer to the settlement of Albany.Relax at Uredale Point, sense the remoteness and space.
