FAQs
- What does my child's ticket include?
Every Child and Sibling ticket includes:
One mini flower posy to take home
One flower potion jar to create and keep
One flower artwork
Access to all flower-themed sensory and nature play stations throughout the 2-hour session
Infant Sibling Tickets include access to the nature play area only. Infants are welcome to enjoy the sensory and nature play experiences under the supervision of their accompanying adult. Make-and-take activities (flower posy, potion and artwork) are not included with an Infant Sibling Ticket.
Adult tickets are for accompanying adults only and do not include making your own flowers, potions and paintings. We encourage adults to assist their children where necessary.
- Is this a structured workshop?
No. Wildflower Play Day is designed as a relaxed, open-ended experience. Families are invited to explore each activity at their own pace, with friendly facilitators available to guide and inspire children as they play.
- Is Wildflower Play Day indoors or outdoors?
Wildflower Play Day is weather dependent 🌿
If the sun is shining and the weather is warm and dry, we'll be set up outdoors on the beautiful grounds surrounding the Uraidla Show Hall, opposite the Uraidla Oval, making the most of the fresh air and natural surroundings.
If the weather is looking wet or cold, we'll move into the beautiful Uraidla Show Hall, where all of the activities can still be enjoyed in a warm and welcoming space.
We'll communicate the final location with all ticket holders in the days leading up to the event, based on the forecast.
Whichever setting we use, you can expect the same magical experience, with plenty of opportunities for little ones to mix, create, explore, and immerse themselves in nature-inspired play.
- What should my child wear?
We recommend comfortable clothing suitable for creative, sensory and nature-based play. While we'll do our best to minimise mess, we'd suggest wearing clothes that don't mind a little creativity!
- Can children do each activity more than once?
Activities are designed for one make-and-take experience per child, but children are welcome to enjoy the sensory play stations throughout the session.
- Is the venue pram friendly?
Yes, you are welcome to bring a pram.
- Will my child be supervised?
Children remain the responsibility of their accompanying adult throughout the event.
- Can I get a refund if I can no longer attend?
As Wildflower Play Day is a small community event with significant upfront costs for venue hire, flowers, activity materials and staffing, we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds for change of mind or if you are unable to attend.
If you can no longer make it, your ticket may be transferred to another family. Simply email us before the event with the new attendee's details and we'll update the booking for you.
Thank you for your understanding and for supporting a small business community event.
If the event is cancelled or postponed by the event organiser, attendees will be offered a full refund.
