Wildflower Ride

The route/ride

• A cruisy 15km ride on bike paths, with lots of stops to look at wildflowers and birds.

• All abilities and bikes are welcome. Route is mostly flat and paved.

• This is a social, no-drop ride as always, which means we ride as a group at chatting pace, and no one gets left behind.

This ride is for you if:

• You love spring wildflowers and native flora, and you want to ride your bike at a cruisy pace to admire them

• Please respect that this is a ride specifically for people of colour.

Logistics:

• Meeting at 10am at Hurstbridge Station.

• Ending at approx. 1pm at Eltham Station. Due to the nature of social group rides, please plan to be flexible. 

• This ride is weather dependent. If the weather is bad, we will make a call two days in advance to reschedule.

• Our ride guides do their best to plan safe routes that keep you off roads, but you are responsible for your own safety. Helmets are required.
  

Bring:

• Your bike and helmet.

• Water, sunscreen, snacks

Signed up but can't come anymore?

• Please cancel your ticket by replying to this email or texting Pei Ting at +61 490 523 181 ASAP so that we can give your spot to someone else. There is often a waitlist and the sooner you can cancel, the better :)

• We get that things can come up, but our rides are also entirely volunteer run, so please give us a hand with managing the event!

Is there a fee?

• Our rides are free and wholly volunteer-run. But if you'd like to make a contribution to keep us going, you can do so in the check-out page. :)
