Wildflower spotting for children in Mooloolah River National Park - 2025 Sunshine Coast Wildflower Festival
Event description
This year as part of the Sunshine Coast Wildflower Festival, Mooloolah River Landcare along with Dr Hilary Pearl, present this walk for children aged 10 and under (and their caregiver).
Children are naturally curious. This walk, led by Dr. Hilary Pearl, will be both engaging and interesting. Encouraging and nurturing curiosity in children can have a significant impact on the way they view the environment.
Each participant needs a ticket, therefore 7 x children + 7 x caregivers = 14 participants in total.
The wildflowers should be fabulous. Hilary studied in this area as part of her PhD, so she knows the area well.
Please bring a hat, sunscreen, insect repellant and drinking water. Covered shoes are a must.
This event is supported by the Sunshine Coast Council Grant's Program.
