Wildflower Walk for Women
Event description
Wildflower Walk for Women - Lamington National Park
A Nature Ritual Experience
Celebrate the season of spring as we wander among the vibrant wildflowers that bloom in Lamington National Park. This Wildflower Walk for Women invites you to slow down, connect deeply with nature, and immerse yourself in the colours, scents, and delicate beauty of these seasonal blooms. Along the way, we’ll explore the ancient Gondwana Rainforest, one of the oldest living rainforests on Earth, and discover the timeless beauty it holds.
Commencing with an opening circle, we'll set our intentions and ground ourselves in the present moment. The 12 km, Grade 4 walk (4–5 hours) is designed to be accessible for those with a moderate fitness level, provided you're comfortable walking for extended periods. Along the way, we'll pause to observe and capture the vibrant wildflowers and the tranquil forest ambiance, taking group photos along the way and of course plenty of flower photos!
Midway, we'll stop for a nourishing picnic brunch in nature, allowing time to reflect, share, and deepen our connections. We'll be winding in and out of rainforest the rainforest canopy helping keep us cool for the second half of the hike.
This experience is perfect for artists, photographers, nature enthusiasts, or any woman who loves longer bushwalks.
