Event description

Join us at Mount Bold Reservoir Reserve to explore the Lookout Trail and discover the stunning orchids and other native wildflowers of the region. This trail meanders through stringybark and cup gum woodlands, offering a chance to learn about the diverse flora and fauna that inhabit these environments.

As part of Nature Festival 2024, SA Water is excited to invite the community to engage with and appreciate the unique biodiversity of South Australia’s reservoir reserves.

At Mount Bold Reservoir Reserve, you’ll gain insights into the significance of reservoirs and their surrounding reserves, as well as the crucial role biodiversity plays in managing these vital systems. The event features a two-kilometre guided walk where you can observe the blooming native wildflowers and learn how to use the iNaturalist app to identify them. Do not miss this opportunity to deepen your connection with nature and enhance your understanding of local ecosystems.
