Wilding Fundraiser for the Once Upon An Island Charitable Trust

Your invited to join us to the inaugural screening of the documentary, ‘Wilding’ based on the book written my Isabella Tree.

Wilding tells the story of a young couple that puts their trust in nature for the future of a failing, four-hundred-year-old estate. The young couple battles entrenched tradition, and conventional ideas about farming and land management. Ripping down the fences, they set the land back to the wild and entrust its recovery to a motley mix of animals both tame and wild. It is the beginning of a grand experiment that will become one of the most significant rewilding experiments in Europe.

Proceeds from this film will go to the Once Upon An Island Charitable Trust.

The Once Upon An Island Trust is a charitable organisation that has been working in the Waiheke Community for sixteen years. It’s focus is story based, using stories to build community, offer environmental education and inspire positive change with a particular focus on the tamariki and whānau of Waiheke.
