Description

Discover and meet the creatures who call the gardens home!

These school holidays, let your kids join us for a guided adventure to uncover which animals call the botanic gardens home, meet the often‑overlooked creatures living under the water through dip‑netting, and discover why gardens and greenspaces are such important places for supporting local wildlife. They’ll finish the day by planting their own native plant to take home, making your backyard (or balcony) more wildlife‑friendly. Perfect for curious minds who love nature, creatures, and getting outdoors!

Who: Recommended for children aged 5–12 years with an accompanying adult.

Where: Meet at the Waratah Room (within the Blue Mountains Botanic Garden Mount Tomah)

When: Spring School Holidays 2026

Cost: $22 per participating child | $20 per participating child for Foundation and Friends members
