Event description

Do something different. Be the change.

The Big Challenge – Wildlife Friendly Forums invite everyone to be part of a growing movement to protect local wildlife and domestic pets from the hidden dangers of second-generation anticoagulant rodenticides (SGARs) and unsustainable rodent control methods.

Forum 3 is focussed on householders - how to protect your own home and buildings from rodents in a wildlife friendly manner - including some novel new ideas and exploring how we identify those retailers who support and encourage wildlife friendly rodent control practices in their business.

Forum 3 brings together an expert in domestic rodent control, Michael Canton from AllPest and a trailblazing R&D specialist and passionate advocate for environmental sustainability, Sean Borg, who has devoted his career to developing innovative, world-class organic products.

If you have specific questions and concerns about your own home and garages and how rodents are "getting in" bring your questions along for Michael to listen to his suggestions. Alongside Michael will be hearing from Sean and what proven organic based option he suggests that involves you not having to kill any rodents. You'll gain insights into what else is possible when you discover rodents are in your home, and what wildlife-friendly pest control measures are available locally.

Learn about effective, safe alternatives and discover how your choices can help build a healthier, more sustainable future. Help create Swan community educational materials on this issue. Together, let’s create a wildlife-friendly rodent control movement that can lead the way in the City of Swan – and inspire change far beyond.
