Wildlife monitoring Berry
Event description
Curious to see who’s passing through your patch? Learn how to monitor native wildlife without disturbing them or their habitat by using motion-activated cameras.
Ever wondered who’s living on your land when you’re not looking? From shy daytime birds like the superb fairy-wren to nocturnal visitors that emerge under cover of darkness, Australia’s native wildlife is often elusive—but it's closer than you think.
Event details:
South East Local Land Services invites you to join a wildlife monitoring workshop in your region where you’ll:
discover effective wildlife camera techniques
learn how to identify habitat features and signs of animal presence
understand how your property fits into the broader ecological landscape.
You will be grouped with likeminded landholders close to you, loaned a wildlife camera and be supported through group check ins and events.
Location:
This workshop is being held in Berry. Exact location will be confirmed after registration.
A similar wildlife workshop is also being offered in the Braidwood area.
