Wildlife of the Murrakool Region
Event description
We're excited to bring you a fascinating glimpse into the wildlife along the Wakool River. We have had our camera's set and Songmeter's recording for weeks and are ready to show you what we have found. Bring your hat, water bottle and chair, and join us for this rare opportunity to look at the wildlife on a BCT protected property.
Special Guests:
- Nigel Jones from BCT: Learn how to set up and record wildlife using cameras so you can monitor your own areas
- Samantha Davies from PEG: Look at the local water bugs in our waterways and learn their roles in the ecosystem
- Nadiah Roslan from Frog I.D: Learn about local frog species and tools you can use to identify them!

Learn from our subject matter experts and see what citizen science opportunities are available for you to be involved with wildlife conservation in our backyard.
