Travel instructions

Bus: The are two bus drop off zones close to the Bicentennial Conservatory. Hackney Road, out front of the Goodman Building Plane Tree Drive, in between the Friends' Gate and the Zoo

Entry instructions

The closest entrance gate is the Conservatory Gate. Please check in for the event at the northern end of the Bicentennial Conservatory with the staff located just inside the automatic doors.

After entry instructions

Once you have checked in, the man himself, Charles Darwin will meet you in the Bicentennial Conservatory Foyer

Hazards

The Exhibition is on a paved pathway at ground level and includes a low gradient sloped board walk to the upper level. As this is a Rainforest environment, please be aware that there may be moisture in the air and on the paths depending on the weather.

Toilet location

Noel Lothian: Located between the Rose Garden and Kitchen Garden (D15 map reference). These include an accessible toilet and a baby change table.

Accessible parking

Accessible parking spaces are available within all 4-hour parking zones and are free of charge for people displaying a disability parking permit. For visits longer than 4 hours, permit holders are welcome to park in 10-hour bays and can pay half the ticketed price for the duration of the stay.
