Wildlife Photographer of the Year | Schools self-guided experience
Event description
Self-guided learning at Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition for Schools!
We’re excited to offer schools an opportunity to gaze through the lens of some of the world's best wildlife photographers and marvel at the natural beauty of our planet.
Inside the lush green setting of the Bicentennial Conservatory, the exhibition will feature 100 exceptional images that capture fascinating animal behaviour, spectacular species and the breathtaking diversity of the natural world.
Using photography's unique emotive power to engage and inspire audiences, the images shine a light on stories and species around the world and encourage a future of advocating for the planet.
You can even involve your class in a photography competition that challengers people of all ages to capture the beauty of the Botanic Gardens.
Enjoy a fully sustainable, hands on activity which asks people to create their own Leaf Litter Leaf Critter by arranging gathered leaves, seeds and nuts from some well known trees around Adelaide Botanic Garden. Encouraging learners to leave no trace, you can photograph your leaf critter and return the materials for others to enjoy!
Teachers can use their own resources to compliment in class teaching or use our provided self-guided learning resources so your students can explore the exhibition in fun and engaging ways!
