Wilfrid Gordon McDonald Partridge

Adapted from the beloved children's book by Mem Fox and Julie Vivas, Wilfrid Gordon McDonald Partridge follows the friendship between a young boy and his favourite resident, the 96-year-old Miss Nancy.

Set in the aged care home next door to Wilfrid's home, this heartwarming story celebrates kindness, connection and the power of memories.

Beautiful puppetry, music, humour and imagination bring the story to life. It encourages empathy, sparks laughter and celebrates the bonds between generations.

As part of this unique production, local seniors and grandparents can join the cast. Children will love seeing their own family member perform on stage.

Perfect for children aged 5 years and over and their families, including seniors and grandparents.

Time: 3.00pm–4.00pm MAIN PERFORMANCE (50-minute performance, no interval, followed by a 10-minute Q&A).

Grand Parents/Seniors being part of this theatre experience!

Inviting 20 senior/grandparents who have purchased a ticket to Wilfrid Gordon McDonald Partridge (and hopefully have children or grandchildren in the audience) to TAKE A SEAT for a special interactive pre-show experience.

Meet the cast, crew (and puppets), and participate in a fun, light-hearted group activity. Afterwards, five lucky people will be given the opportunity to participate in the performance, joining the cast on stage.

You will need to be at Manjimup Town Hall ready to start at 2.00pm and have purchased a paid entry ticket plus a FREE TAKE A SEAT ticket.

If you are a senior/grandparent, have a paid ticket and would like to do this, please reserve your FREE ticket – only 20 available. This makes the performance MAGIC for the children!
