will hanlon & friends (play calm & beautiful music in island bay)

On the afternoon of Sunday 15th November, Will Hanlon (sax, flute, synths, voice memos) & friends Max Sheehan (synths, drums, percussion), Becky Devine (bass), and Paulina Hernandez (keys, synths) will play a selection of calm, beautiful, meditative, original and improvised ambient instrumental jazz music, in the octopus HQ hall on Island Bay Beach. Join us to bask in the abundant beauty of Taputeranga and let the sweet sounds wash over you.

• The Octopus HQ Hall is located at 251 The Esplanade, Island Bay - right on Island Bay beach

• Doors open at 3:45pm, tea and biscuits will be available

• Music begins at 4:30pm, and will go for approx. an hour

• The hall is on the first floor of the building, and only accessible via a flight of stairs

• Attendees are encouraged to bring their own beanbag/mat/cushion to relax on, for which there will be plenty of space for. There will also be an abundance of normal seating.

• This is a relaxed performance setting - whānau and tamariki of all ages and more than welcome, and attendees are free to move around the space or make noise as they please during the performance.
