Wine and Cheese: Raclette and Alpine Wine

The 'Alpine' Wines of France and Italy are some of the most exciting in the world and we thought what better way to celebrate them than a hybrid tasting / dinner celebrating alpine wine, cheese and food.

We will be presenting 5 wines from a range of Alpine appellations including the Savoie and Jura (France), Val de Aosta, Alto Adige and Friuli (Italy).

These 5 wines will be accompanied by a meal of traditionally prepared raclette including bread, cornichons, potatoes and ham and will finish with a traditional pairing of 30 month old Comte and a glass of 2015 Domaine de La Borde Vin Jaune (which we normally sell for $250 a bottle). 

Because of the demand and labour involved in hosting this event we will have three 90 minute seatings per evening over two nights: Wednesday 21 August and Thursday 22 August.
