Event description
Is it full bodied? Have you let it breath? Is it dry or sweet?
These are important questions you should be asking about your wine. After taking this workshop you'll know all about wine varieties, wine regions and the all too common faults in wine and how to test for them. During the hour you'll also have the opportunity to do a wine tasting from home and dissect the flavours. Gone are the days of choosing a bottle purely its label, there is so much more to know!
Facilitated by Michelle Beckett
Michelle is enrolled in the Wine & Spirits Education Trust 3 course, which is part of the pathway to become a sommelier. She has worked in specialty wine stores, in cellar doors and knows a fair bit about wine and LOVES to teach people about it! Michelle is keen to foster an appreciation of wine and be immersed in settings where she can meet and learn from others.
