    Join bestselling author Nikki Gemmell and Pamela Cook as they discuss her new literary thriller, Wing

    During an elite school camping trip in the Australian bush, four girls become separated, along with their male teacher. After a major search yields no results, the girls return traumatized, but the teacher is missing, and they refuse to speak about the incident.

    Wing is provocative, sharp, raging and tender that explores the complexities of female friendships across generations and between genders. It boldly addresses contemporary issues with power, honesty, and urgency.

    Nikki Gemmell is the best-selling author of thirteen novels and four works of non-fiction, which have been translated into 22 languages. Her best-known work is the 2003 novel The Bride Stripped Bare, an explicit exploration of female sexuality.  Four of her books, Shiver, Cleave, The Bride Stripped Bare and The Book of Rapture, made the longlist of “Favourite Australian Novels” as chosen by readers of the Australian Book Review. She also pens a weekly column for Weekend Australian Magazine which has won a Walkley award for opinion writing and commentary. 

    Pamela Cook is an author, podcaster and teacher who writes page-turning contemporary women’s fiction, delving deep into the psychology of her characters and the complexity of relationships in all their forms. She has had four novels published traditionally and two independent titles. Pamela is the host of the Writes4Women podcast and teaches writing workshops through her business, Wildwords, and at various writers’ centres. Her latest independent release is All We Dream.
