Are you seeking spaciousness, to slow down, go within, let your creative juices flow and rejuvenate, all whilst on a winter weekend escape immersed in nature? 

We have created this retreat just for you! 

Come and explore your creativity and join us by grounding into some clay work whilst spending time connecting with like minded folk!

This is an engaging 2 day clay retreat suitable for all levels for you to experience working with high quality clay. Beginners welcome!

Step into a rejuvenating escape this winter at Glen Eden. Immerse yourself in a range of soul nourishing activities, from clay creating and sauna sessions to hot tubs and fire nights under the stars.

Indulge in gourmet meals crafted by a private chef, ensuring every bite is both nourishing and delicious.

This all inclusive retreat offers comfortable accommodation, delicious dining, and enriching experiences designed to help you realign, refresh and be in your creative flow.

This retreat is intentionally heart-led, with a spaciousness for a slow rhythm and meditative art expressions of the hands

During these workshops you will learn the essentials of pinching, using coils for the walls, making slabs, shaping and joining clay to form your unique pieces. We will also be imprinting beautiful messages, carving and giving our designs texture and personalizing them to for our own unique creations.

You may wish to create a dinner set, platters and dip bowls, vases, mugs, breakfast sets. This is a truly immersive experience where your imagination can run wild, we will teach you how to make your masterpieces from scratch!

These will be 'perfectly imperfect' pieces handmade by you!

Glen Eden Estate is the ultimate Hunter Valley destination. Nestled at the foot of the Brokenback Mountain Ranges and surrounded by some of the Valley's bespoke cellar doors and experiences, come and enjoy exploring the 26 acre land with spectacular views of the stunning Brokenback Mountain range, connect with nature, pat the furry friends and enjoy all that this beautiful estate has to offer

What to expect: We will gather, set intentions, share from the heart, enjoy mindful morning movement, soul nourishing tea, there will be 4 creative clay workshops across the 2 days, relaxing by the fire, rejuvenate and embrace the energy of being connected to self. Itinerary to be released soon!

The cottages: 

  • The Log Cabin - sleeps up to 7 - Your comfort is assured in this log cabin filled with olde-world charm:
    • full size kitchen including refrigerator, microwave, oven and stove top
    • indoor fire place + outdoor fire pit
    • outdoor wood-fire pizza oven
    • reverse cycle air-conditioning & ceiling fan
    • covered hot tub in covered outdoor area
    • freshly laundered towels & bed linen
    • initial supplies of tea, coffee, sugar & basic toiletries
  • Rosebower Cottage - sleeps up to 6 - is equipped with
    • Full size kitchen including large refrigerator, microwave, oven and stove top
    • Reverse cycle air-conditioning, ceiling fans & heaters,
    • Freshly laundered towels & bed linen
    • Initial supplies of tea, coffee, sugar & basic toiletries
  • Lemonthyme Cottage - sleeps up to 4 - is equipped with
    • full size kitchen including large refrigerator, microwave, oven and stove top
    • reverse cycle air-conditioning, ceiling fans & heaters
    • TV, DVD and CD players
    • Freshly laundered towels & bed linen
    • initial supplies of tea, coffee, sugar & basic toiletries.

Age: Adults

Attendees required: minimum of 12 and maximum of 18

Time frame for completion of pieces: 4-6 weeks 

Once you creations are hand built, the piece will need to dry for a week, have a bisque firing, it will be glazed in white glaze, then fired again. Your pieces will be ready in approx 4-6 weeks time and can be collected from Orenda Ceramics on the Central Coast (postage is an additional charge and dependent on weight).
