Winter Hearth: A solstice ceremonial soiree with Julie Hayes & Kate Leopold

You are invited to join us for an evening around the colloquial fire, to warm our bellies through the alchemy of song, in a mid-winter gathering on the longest night of the year. Within the silence of the darkness and peace of the void, there is an opportunity to listen deeply to our inner voice and receive our heart’s longings.

This will be a two-part experience. We will begin the evening together in ceremony, to co-create the central ‘earth altar’, where everyone is invited to contribute a piece of treasure from nature, woven with a collective intention and guided soundscape creation to bring us into heart coherence and create inner space of rest and reset.

For the second portion of the evening, you can settle in, create your nest and get cosy – as Kate and Jules take you on a journey with an intimate set comprising a hand-picked selection of songs old and new – to warm the spirit and stir the soul. Kate and Jules have recently been developing their songs together and exploring new frontiers with uplifting, etheric highs and timbre depths, drawing inspiration from ancestral roots and a shared love for nature and the alchemical power of music.

What to bring:

• Wear warm clothes
• Bring a floor mat, warm blanket and cushion to create a cosy nest for the concert
• Water bottle / cup for tea (if desired)
• A small item chosen from nature, to place on the earth altar. Please be mindful in your selection, with a preference for taking from the ground. Some examples include a leaf/seed/feather/stick or piece of bark that you feel some connection with. Another option is to bring an item such as a crystal or other treasure to place on the altar.
