For the artisanal/craft beer lover, Winter really is “Beer Season”. We can enjoy well-made lagers and ales at any time of year, but our coolest season makes the warming characters of dark and roasted malts, and/or higher alcohol levels, particularly attractive… And brewers seem to enjoy flexing their muscles with winter beers too!
