Join Andrew Thompson from the Rare Fruit Society and Andrew's Urban Farm for a practical hands-on workshop and demonstration of how to prune and shape your fruit trees in winter.

Andrew comes to us with decades of experience in the horticulture industry and as the founder of Andrew's Urban Farm, a thriving permaculture paradise in Adelaide's northern suburbs. He will demonstrate how to correctly prune your fruit trees in winter and prepare them for a productive, healthy and fruitful Spring.

Attendees at this workshop will be able to get hands-on, pruning our fruit trees in store under Andrew's supervision.

For those looking for good quality fruit trees, this workshop will be one of the last days to take advantage of some massive EOFY and general in-store discounts on fruit trees, including figs and deciduous fruit trees. Ask our staff to assist you with more information.

Introduction to Wicking Beds Demonstration and Workshop

Saturday, 29th June 1 pm - 2:30 pm

Join Peter Heidenreich from Garden Goodness Australia and The Australian Worm Firm for a practical hands-on workshop and demonstration of how to set up and maintain wicking beds.

These garden beds are a valuable tool for the home gardener, especially those working in small spaces, allowing you to efficiently conserve water and maximise the productivity of your plants and fruit trees.

During this workshop, Peter will explain the science of how wicking beds work, and the different methods available for setting up your wicking bed. Peter will also demonstrate how to set up a wicking bed planter box and if you are purchasing on the day, will be able to assist you with setting yours up too!

Attendees at this workshop will be offered some fantastic deals on wicking beds right across our range. If you've been thinking about getting a wicking bed, this is your chance to do it at a great price and with the advice right on hand!

NOTE: Limited spots are available to attend both workshops on the day in one, easy ticket. If you book this way, you get 50% off the second workshop when you book the first! Get in quick, because double workshop tickets are limited!
