WINTER REDS: The Shiraz Social!

And this year we are adding a twist on this much-loved event.

What is new this year?

More Marquees! A NEW VIP Only Marquee has been added to the mix – a VIP crowd pleaser at our other major events…so let’s see you get around this space for Winter Reds.

A new dance floor located under the pagoda tent roof tops and disco balls in the heart of our outdoor event, setting the beat and pulse with LIVE DJ’s to get the D-Floor pumping. More LIVE Acoustic music with multiple pop-up activations across the outdoor venue giving off festival vibes and atmosphere. Our heated and enclosed Terrace will be in full swing this year, being super close to the main bar, it will provide the relaxed space to enjoy conversations whether you are here for the full day or enjoying one of the many bus loops and staying for a good time, not a long time.

What to expect in each area?

Shiraz Social VIP Laneway Marquee

Located in our Vineyard View Laneway, directly adjacent our buzzing dance floor sending you upbeat energy and good vibes all day, you will be the envy of the event! We’ve thought of everything: You’ll be around the corner from the Main Bar, with all your bar favourites plus the Threefold Gin Cocktail Bar. When you are feeling peckish you are just steps away from the Outdoor Festival Kitchen. And….once the wines are flowing, you’ll be able to groove a short stride to the Shiraz Social dance floor. There will be ample heating throughout the marquee to keep you comfortable all day. VIP Ticket holders get the Socialite treatment! Check out ticket inclusions below – VIP’s get everything you need included in your ticket to enjoy the entire day. Don’t delay… the VIP area is an 18+ marquee with limited tickets only and will sell out! 


Shiraz Social Main Marquee

This Marquee is HUGE! We will have a fenced off reserved section for our Reserved Marquee Ticketholders – which becomes your reserved table for the day! You can relax knowing you don’t need to rush in to save the best spot for you and your crew... we’ve got you covered!

Our Main Marquee also hosts majority of our General Admission ticketholders. Perfect!

You will enjoy LIVE Acoustic music in the main marquee throughout the day. Unlike last year, the dance floor & DJ was located inside this marquee… This year we’ve moved the dancefloor just outside of the main marquee… providing more seating undercover and an area you can still chat with your family and friends over some pleasant acoustic tunes. But don’t worry! The dancefloor is in full view, so when you feel like going to shake it on the Shiraz Social D-Floor, you won’t have far to go… and for those wanting to kick back and watch you attempt to cut a shape, they can do so easily from the marquee tables. There will be ample heating throughout the marquee to keep you comfortable all day.

Clover + Stone Restaurant

Located inside our rustic barn, we will be hosting The Shiraz Social Feast. A special set menu created for our Shiraz Social Long Lunch fans.

Our barn will feature our premium dining experience and the dulcet tones of LIVE acoustic music, just for our restaurant guests to enjoy. You’ll feel a part of the outdoor Shiraz Social Event, with views to the VIP marquee and dancefloor.

The fire will be lit. The atmosphere cozy. The food exquisite. The wine divine. All we need is you!

You will be able to mingle outside if you desire, visit the Threefold Gin Bar, or check out all the frolic and fun action taking place outside… and when you are ready… head back inside to your table. Reserved for you for the full day.

Your long lunch ticket inclusions are below. Limited lunch seats are available. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

What else will there be?

A main outdoor bar located in the heart of the event, will be stocked with all of your Howard Vineyard favourites, plus beers, ciders and soft drinks.

Threefold Distilling Co are joining us again to pour fresh event cocktails, designed just for The Shiraz Social in mind.

A secondary satellite bar will be setup to service those in the Main Marquee – with a handful of our most popular wines and beers… all conveniently close by.

Our Korean kitchen team, with head chef Cookie always deliver the most flavoursome winter festival menu from our outdoor event kitchen. Our menu will be posted on our what’s on page. We cater for all dietary requirements.

Firepits will be scattered across our lawns and laneways, along with umbrellas, plus plenty of tables and chairs to cater for all ticket holders. If the weather is nice, there will be plenty of lush areas to be able to zone out and enjoy that winter suns warmth.

Outdoor bathroom facilities will be easily accessible across the venue, with luxury bathroom trailers, portaloo’s and our main venue bathrooms.

This is an accessible friendly event. We provide access parking, an access drop-off zone, and easy access to our accessible bathroom. For any guests who might require some access support, simply make contact with our event coordinator to arrange.

UBER is in the area! We still recommend you pre-book your ride share service. However UBER have advised they will be supporting the Adelaide Hills Wine Region Festival all weekend.

Dine inside our rustic barn with a newly created Shiraz Long Lunch Feast menu. You’ll enjoy multiple courses and many delicious dishes.

Grab your mates, organise a bus or share ride service and head for Howard Vineyard.

Get cosy around our wood fires, enjoy our range of wines, beers + cocktails. Indulge in our delicious casual festival food whilst enjoying the live DJ music or acoustic tunes. Outdoor Bars, plus outdoor Kitchen will keep everyone hyrdrated, fed and happy. Under cover marquee areas, chairs + tables are provided on a first come, first served basis. We recommend arriving early to secure a position for the day. There will be a large festival marquee providing shelter and warmth, plus plenty of wood fire pits and gas heaters scattered all over the venue.

Kids GA FREE: Ages 17 and under

Please book in any GA U17's attending with you, so we can track numbers of all attendees.

Please note: Seating for GA tickets is not reserved. We will ensure there is ample furniture and lawn space available to host all ticket holders, however seating for GA tickets is first in best dressed.

Gates open from 10.30am: Food and beverages available to purchase at the venue. Strictly no BYO.

Please note: This is an all weather event, and will be held outside. We will provide lots of marquee shelter and heating to make our outdoor venue cozy and comfortable. We will not be issuing refunds on account of weather conditions, or because you can no longer attend* within 48 hours of event.
