Winter Series Social Sailing

Winter Series in Hansa dinghies

Members are invited to come and sail Hansa 303's and Hansa Liberty dinghies during our winter season. Not a member of Sailability WA? You are welcome to sail with us by purchasing a general admission ticket!

All our volunteers are experienced sailors willing to help people with disabilities give sailing a go. 

Not sure you have enough sailing experience? All OK, you just need to be willing to give sailing a try supported by a volunteer or support person with sailing experience. The Sunday morning sessions are all about learning more about sailing dinghies!

Please let us know what support you require to safely get into and around a boat, and if you will be attending this event with a support person. 

When you arrive at the venue please find your way to the dinghy division area to check in/ sign in with Sailability WA.

Look for the Sailability flag set up in the area outside dinghy division, we are situated there.

• Please arrive at 9am to help set up our dinghies, briefing at 9:45AM before the on-water session starts at 10AM.

• Sail between 10AM and 12PM on the nominated sailing days.

• Your volunteer skipper or crew will go sailing with you.

Please text or call 0404 145 499 if you have booked a ticket and can't make it on the day, as we would like to let our volunteers know.

Weather conditions/ cancellations

We will sail in rain and sun, however sailing events will be cancelled if wind conditions are considered to strong (18knts +). If a cancellation needs to occur we will send a notification to you by text and your ticket will be refunded.
