Winter Solstice at Harcourt Valley

Join us at Harcourt Valley for a magical Winter Solstice evening filled with firelight, music, food, and festive cheer!

From 4pm, enjoy children’s activities provided by Castlemaine Circus, followed by live music throughout the evening. As the sun sets, gather around as the bonfire is lit at nightfall—a stunning centrepiece to warm your winter’s night.

Indulge in delicious offerings from local food trucks, including Pizza de Wheels, a homemade soup stall, and a coffee van serving up hot chocolates and warming brews.

Our licensed bar will be stocked with beer, wine, mulled wine, limoncello, mangocello, and other fun drinks to sip by the fire.

It’s the perfect way to welcome the winter season with friends, family, and community.

No BYO – this is a licensed event.

Too early to head home on this winter’s night?

Swing by Le Coq Door - the fire will be lit, the mood will be cozy, and wintery cocktails are ready to warm you up. The perfect way to finish off the evening.

Important things to note and FAQs:

If you are bringing young children please consider attending in the earlier part of the evening when Castlemaine Circus have some children’s entertainment lined up from 4pm. Please supervise your children at all times as there is fire, a small creek and general risks from being outdoors and in the dark.

What do I get with my ticket purchase?

Entry to the event, live music and entertainment for the children.

Is there parking available?

Yes, parking is available in the paddock. There will be parking attendants to guide you to a space, please be respectful of their directions.

What can/can’t I bring into the event?

We strongly encourage you to enjoy the food on offer from our fabulous vendors and support local. However, you may wish to bring a picnic/snacks, picnic rugs and lawn chairs. STRICTLY no BYO alcohol.

Can I bring my dog?

If you have a happy and sociable dog who does not mind large crowds and children, you are welcome to bring them provided them remain on a lead at all times.

Will there be seating at the event?

There will be limited seating available on a first come/first serve basis. We encourage you to bring your own seating ie) picnic rugs or lawn chairs

Do I need a printed ticket?

You may enter the event with a paper ticket or E-ticket.

What happens if it rains?

The event continues rain or shine - it is winter! Just make sure to bring an umbrella and dress appropriately.

Do you offer refunds if we can’t make it?

Unfortunately we will not be offering refunds if you are unable to make it to the event - but you may transfer your ticket to someone else.
