Winter Solstice Celebration
Event description
Join us on a mid-Winter's eve to celebrate the Winter Solstice and our wonderful community.
It will truly be an evening to remember with live music, dancing, a fire, the sharing of a meal and other family friendly activities.
Bring family and friends - or come and make some new ones! Find a place on the long table amongst your neighbours. Bring a plate to share; a seasonal tart, a salad, a soup, homemade dips or bread.
We invite you to join us in focusing on local, DIY, zero waste. You can do this by using home grown or locally purchased food, bringing your own crockery and cutlery from the cupboard and by supporting the local butcher rather than a big supermarket chain.
We’re aiming for no rubbish and as little recycling as possible. We will compost any food scraps.
