Winter Solstice

Join us at the farm for a special winter solstice celebration! With special guest caterers, Stepping Stone, who are offering a delicious lunch and a few inspiring words about themselves and their place in the Canberra food system. Accompanied by warming fires, mulled wine, toasted marshmallows, games, and general conviviality to celebrate the great turning.

This event is part of a broader series of Monthly Mingles that bring people closer to their local food system. Monthly Mingles are (usually) held on the third Sunday of every month at Canberra City Farm, and feature a guest speaker or facilitated panel discussion along with lunch and casual conversation.

This is an outdoor event; if the weather is not on our side, fear not, we have an indoor wet weather option.

To assist our hard working volunteers, all attendees are asked to please bring their own plate, cutlery and mug.

Spaces are limited (strictly 40 people) and registration is essential. Children are welcome. For catering purposes, please register no later than 19 June. The farm always welcomes your membership (join here)

Cost: The ticket price covers the cost of the food provided by Stepping Stone. The food is vegetarian and gluten free.
