Winter Solstice: Lighting the Fire Within

As the longest night gives way to the promise of light, I invite you to join us in a morning celebration; honouring renewal, reflection, and connection.

We gather at dawn, at a special glade in the southern parklands, with Mother Fig Tree watching over us, to greet the returning sun, aligning ourselves with nature’s rhythms, bird song and the ancient traditions that celebrate rebirth and hope. With crisp morning air, the first light touching the horizon we will call in fresh beginnings, through a moment of awakening.

We will share in a Cacao Ceremony, opening our heart space and  inviting reflection and the setting of new intentions. At our sunrise gathering, we will symbolically release the burdens of the past year and welcome a fresh cycle of renewal and growth.

We return to an indoor healing space in Unley where a  Blessings & Gratitude Circle will be held,  supporting everyone to share heartfelt appreciation for the earth, their journey, and the light ahead.

A guided meditation and sound healing journey will symbolizing the return of light and the promise of renewal and hope and help release the old and embrace the new.

We close with the warmth of Breaking the Fast: A Solstice Breakfast & Communal Feast—a time to nourish both body and spirit. Sun-coloured fruits, golden honey, chia puddings and herbal teas embody abundance and renewal, wrapping up the morning in a shared sense of light and purpose.

I look forward to holding space in this sacred time and embrace the return of the sun. The fire within is ready to rise. 🌞🔥
